Research is a fundamental part of a translator’s work. I love to learn new things through my job and I can deliver high-quality translations on a wide range of topics. That being said, there are a few areas that are really close to my heart and that I have a lot of experience in, so projects related to them always make me extra-happy.
Traveling and tourism
When not working, I can usually be found exploring foreign lands (often equipped with a backpack) or planning my next adventure. Besides, I have studied English in three continents and lived in four different cities. Wanderlust is strong in me! So, if your company has anything to do with traveling and tourism, I’d be delighted to work with you.
Literature
I have recently translated Marathon Woman, the autobiography of renowned woman sports pioneer Kathrine Switzer, published by LDR Sport and distributed in Spain and Latin America. You can find more information here. It has been a great experience and I would be delighted to hear about new literary translation opportunities related to my interests.
Journalism
I am a Journalism graduate from Universidad Complutense de Madrid and I have extensive experience in writing all kinds of journalistic pieces. And as a translator, I’m always willing to learn a new world perspective through my work. Projects related to human rights and feminism would be most welcome.
Fitness
I’m a dedicated exerciser and absolutely love reading and learning new things about fitness. Currently I’m mostly focused on running, indoor climbing and yoga, but I have dabbled in other sports as well. If your brand mission is to make people’s lives better through physical activity, I’m sure we’ll see eye to eye.
Marketing and advertising
I have a postgraduate title in Advertising Creativity and Planning and have been working with digital content since 2009, both in-house and as a freelancer. Apart from translating and writing, I have hands-on experience in online marketing management, including SEO and SEM.
